• For the router configuration, you need to log in to the router using the default username and password.  The default information is usually provided on the backside of the router.

• Once you have successfully logged in,  update the router firmware and Wi-Fi router settings. It is highly recommended to create a strong username and password for the router. The default login values can be easily accessed by anyone.

• Most of the router manufacturers provide security functionality for protecting the network.  Add security features for the router using the web dashboard and keep your network protected from outside threats.
